PSI Payroll Services Inc. is committed to providing the highest level of security and privacy regarding the collection and use of our payroll customers’ personal information. Personal information may be collected through the submission of account applications and/or web-based banking transactions all of which is protected by PSI Payroll Service’s Privacy Policy, a detailed description of which is provided below.
Respect of Right to Privacy
PSI Payroll Services respects our clients’ right to privacy and takes every precaution to protect confidential client data entrusted to us.
Collection and Use of Personal Information
All personal information collected and stored by PSI Payroll Services is used for specific business purposes and to ensure that our clients comply with provincial and/or federal payroll and tax remittance regulations.
We employ stringent security measures in the collection of confidential client information. Once such details are received by PSI Payroll Services, only authorized personnel may open and process client payrolls using the data collected. Furthermore, auditing mechanisms have been put into place to protect client information by identifying which employee(s) has accessed and updated or added to confidential client information.
Limited Employee Access to Personal Information
PSI Payroll Services limits employee access to confidential client information to only those payroll administrators with a business reason for knowing such information. PSI Payroll Services also educates all employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy.
Third-Party Disclosure Restrictions
PSI Payroll Services requires all third parties with a business need to access client information to adhere to similar and equally stringent privacy policies. Personal information will only be supplied to a third party if same is required to process a customer transaction (e.g. an electronic funds transfer through a Canadian bank) or if required by law.
